Kim and Brent; Maternity

Kim and I went to college and played volleyball together.  She and her husband, Brent, currently live in Kingsport, but I was lucky enough to meet up with them in Dayton, TN while they were in town for a baby shower.  We went to the Blythe Ferry Docks and took advantage of a gorgeous, sunny winter day!
Kim and Brent were so cute together - you can tell this is their first little one!

They are due February 24. It's coming fast!

Kim and Brent are having a little girl named Emma Faith Rucker. Kim decorated the letter E to match her nursery.

See the fishing poll in the background? It was such a beautiful day we had to avoid the fishermen that were taking advantage of the sunshine too.

The other people there thought we were a little strange.  The road to the ferry docks goes out to the middle of the water, then dead ends.  So, yes, technically, we were in the middle of the road taking pictures.  One lady stopped to ask if Kim was ok since she was laying on a blanket in the middle of the road! I reassured her we were fine, and successfully held back any comments about how I wouldn't be taking pictures of her if she was going into labor:)

It wasn't as easy as you'd think for Brent to get his arms around that belly and help Kim hold the letters - he was a good sport and a very tolerant model!

We had a great time catching up and chatting about the good old days.  We both have great memories of hanging out at the Ferry Docks.  It was always a great place to get away and hang out with friends in college.

The sun was so bright, we had to play with the light some.  They were a little concerned about how I was going to get back up from the rocks below the dock, but no worries! No one was injured in the making of this picture!

We to Brent's parents house for our final pictures where Kim could show a little more belly:) Can you believe she doesn't have any stretch marks at all?

Thanks Kim and Brent for letting me take your maternity pics.  Can't wait to meet Emma!
