The National Cornbread Festival April 29 - May1. Save the Date!

I'm so happy to announce that Christine Lewis Photography will have a booth at this year's National Cornbread Festival! For all those people who have been meaning to attend the festival and just never made it, this is your year.  No more excuses:)  I have been before and there are some pretty awesome craft vendors, along with tons of music, and of course...cornbread!

This photo will be for sale as a postcard!

The focus will be on the "Country Life" series since that is the majority of my work and fits best with the theme of the festival.  There will also be a few pics from the other series. The photos included in this blog will be available - they are from the South Pittsburg area where the festival will be held.  I will also have pictures of the Chattanooga area.

Here's some info about the festival:

When: 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday (all times Central)

Where: 213 S. Cedar Ave., downtown South Pittsburg, Tenn. (take Exit 152 off I-24)
Admission: $3 per day; free for preschoolers
Phone: 423-837-0022
Web site: http://www.nationalcornbread.com/

There's also a street dance on Friday night that I plan to have my booth set up for, if that's a better time.  It's not mandatory for vendors so not all the booths will be set up that night.

The festival has grown a lot in recent years and has been featured in Southern Living and Country Living magazines (just to mention a couple).  This year it was voted by the Southeast Tourism Society as one of the top 20 events in the Southeast.  It's estimated that 45,000 people will be attending the festival. What a great opportunity for us!

So, come on down to South Pittsburg and say hi.  We'll have products available for everyone's budget: postcards, gallery wrapped canvases, unframed prints, and framed prints.  Hope to see you there!!
This will also be available as a postcard as well as a small unframed print

This photo of the Shelby A. Rhinehart bridge will be available in various print sizes as well as framed.

This one is not available at the festival, I just thought it looked really cool! Of course, all pics are available through my website.
